Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
We currently offer virtual sessions, allowing clients to receive care from the comfort and privacy of their own space while maintaining the same level of connection and effectiveness as in-person sessions.
What insurances do you accept?
We have contracts with some major insurance carriers. Below is our most up-to-date list, but it is subject to change, so please reach out with insurance related questions as individual plans might or might be contracted.
** Residents or pre-licensed therapists might to take some or all of the below mentioned insurance providers.
UHC, Optum, Cigna, Evernorth, Tricare East, Veterans Affairs, Carefirst, BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Anthem.
What is self-pay? And sliding scale?
Self-pay includes paying for services yourself and without insurance.
Sliding scale is a self-pay system that utilizes financial information to see if you might qualify for a lower session rate. This process would include an application and some information about your income.
What is out of network?
If we’re not in network with your insurance provider, we are considered an out of network provider and can provide a superbill for services as well.
Each clinician can provide a superbill for services, in case you’d like to submit that to your insurance carrier for POSSIBLE compensation.
What should I let my therapist know about insurance?
If you are opting out of Medicaid or Medicare, please let us know.
If you are opting out of insurance use for services, please us know.
If you have more than one insurance carrier, please let us know.
What should I know before my first appointment?
You’ve already done the hard part. Come to the first session with any questions you might have about paperwork, what treatment might look like, and ready to be seen. We’re so excited you decided to join us!
Please find a comfortable, quiet, stationary space for sessions. Although virtually, we’re still aiming for privacy similarly to how an office setting might be.
What is electronic onboarding paperwork?
Before your session, we’ll send over electronic onboarding paperwork. This information helps us start the session prepared and ready to engage in the work with you. It gives us insights about what you’re seeking in therapy, so we can focus on targeted information gathering and initial treatment concepts.
Can I change therapists if it doesn’t feel like the right fit?
Yes. A strong therapeutic relationship is essential. If at any point you feel your therapist is not the right fit, our team can assist in finding a provider who better meets your needs.
What if I need help with emergency mental health services?
While we are not a crisis facility or center, here is some information that could be helpful to access what are some next best steps.
